A check for $54,000 for a scholarship endowment will be presented at 1 p.m. March 8 to the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina by the Young Agents Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina at the Charlotte, N.C. campus.
A IIANC spokesperson said the scholarship fund is being established to benefit students in the undergraduate risk management and insurance program at UNC’s Belk College of Business.
The luncheon will be attended by Dr. Claude C. Lilly, Dean of The Belk College of Business, UNC Charlotte Chancellor Philip L. Dubois, and members of the IIANC Young Agents Committee.
