Lakeland, Fla.-based Summit, a provider of workers’ compensation insurance services in the southeastern U.S., has announced Francis “Fran” Graham, joined the company in a new position as Southeast Region director of sales. He will oversee the firm’s sales force in Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, where Summit works with more than 500 independent agents.
Graham spent 31 years with Virginia’s Utica National Insurance, eventually serving as their regional vice president, responsible for marketing, underwriting, claims and policy issuance. In 2004, he became the territory manager for Montgomery Insurance in Virginia.
Summit, which includes Summit Consulting Inc., and Summit Holding Southeast Inc., and their affiliates, has offices in Lakeland, Fla.; Baton Rouge, La.; and Gainesville, Ga. Summit offers workers’ compensation products and services to more than 35,000 businesses in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
