Privately-held insurance agency T.R. Jones & Co., along with its affiliate, Kraft Insurance Agency of Winter Park, Fla., have merged with Atlanta-based insurance broker Beecher Carlson.
The transaction expands Beecher Carlson’s geographic presence in Florida and its access to hospitality, healthcare and construction industry accounts, areas of expertise for Beecher Carlson, T.R. Jones and Kraft.
The specific financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
T.R. Jones is led by Tom Jones, president and chief executive officer, and Alan Lund, executive vice president, both of whom will retain their positions with T.R. Jones. Bill McCormick will remain as vice president of Kraft Insurance.
Together, T.R. Jones and Kraft employ 60 individuals across five offices in South and Central Florida. All offices will remain in operation, complementing Beecher Carlson’s existing Florida office located in Tampa. The agency will continue to conduct business as T.R. Jones & Co. and Kraft Insurance.
