The fines are asburd and inconsequential. They’re nothing more than a lame attempt by the regulators to make people think they’re doing something. The only thing that will make a difference is to have the fire department revise it’s protocols and when there’s no human life at risk, don’t put it’s own people at risk just to put a fire out.
