Florida Excess & Surplus Lines wholesaler John Handel & Associates Inc., appointed Lorna W. Palmer as president and chief executive officer.
After a 10-year stint with a Massachusetts Agency, Palmer joined St. Petersburg-based JHA in 1998. Her background in Commercial and Personal Lines business dates back to 1984.
“Lorna joined us as a Bookkeeper in 1998 and since then has assumed responsibility for every aspect of the operations” said John K. Handel, owner of JHA. “Her progress through the corporation has been complete and very well deserved. As JHA approaches its 25th Anniversary, Lorna can carry the flag forward while I remain Chairman of the Board.”
