Effective Oct. 1, Phil Zelman will lead the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida as president. Zelman is the vice president and co-owner of NCF Insurance Associates in Coral Gables and has been an independent agent for more than 19 years.
Brian Samberg will serve as PIA of Florida’s president-elect.
Carol Everhart, CIRMS, will serve as vice-president and Kym Godwin has been named secretary/treasurer.
“We are pleased to have this dynamic team of insurance professionals lead our association as we continue to advocate, educate and serve as a resource for our members,” said Mark O’Connell, CEO of PIA of Florida.
