International insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. reported it has acquired Shuford Insurance Agency, Inc. in Concord, North Carolina. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1938, Shuford Insurance Agency, Inc. is an independent insurance agency offering personal and commercial property/casualty insurance products and services to their clients throughout the Eastern United States. The agency specializes in motorsports, construction and manufacturing and for personal lines coverages.
J. Knox Hillman, Jr. and his associates will continue to operate in the Concord location under the direction of Mitchel Brashier, Southeastern Regional manager of Gallagher’s retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, and has operations in 15 countries.
