CNA Financial Corp. has appointed Rob Huber to the position of Southeastern Zone officer. In this role, Huber is responsible for aligning the branch structure of the global insurer’s Southeastern Zone with its strategy to drive profitable growth.
One of six geographic zones in CNA’s U.S. field structure announced last year, the Southeastern Zone comprises Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and includes offices in Birmingham, Charlotte, Maitland, Nashville and New Orleans.
In addition, Huber will also manage the Atlanta branch office previously led by Ken May, who is leaving CNA to pursue other opportunities.
Huber joins CNA from Ace USA, where he served as senior vice president and regional executive officer for its Southeast territory. His 17-year career began at AIG, and includes agency experience as well as posiitons in underwriting, production and field management.
