Paul Halter has joined workers’ compensation specialist Patriot National Insurance Group as regional vice president of the newly created Southeast region. In his new role, Halter will establish a Patriot National regional office in Charlotte, N.C. and will take responsibility for the states of Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
Before joining Patriot National, Halter was senior vice president of U.S. Operations for Atlas Insurance Management. Halter has also worked at Commerce Casualty Group, Crum & Forster and Marsh & McLennan.
Patriot National underwrites and administers alternative market and traditional workers’ compensation insurance plans for insurance companies, segregated cell captives and reinsurers.
