The Jacksonville, Florida-based Main Street America Group has promoted David Medvidofsky to vice president and head of its audit unit.
Previously, Medvidofsky was an assistant vice president of corporate strategy who was responsible for Main Street’s long-term corporate planning, enterprise risk management and business continuity processes.
Medvidofsky originally joined the company in 1991 serving as a personal lines underwriter for five years. After pursuing other interests, he rejoined the company in 1997 as a regional underwriting manager. He would later go on to serve as the vice chairman and general manager of the company’s Information Systems & Services subsidiary where he was responsible for the insurers’ processing operations.
