Transportation specialist Trinity Underwriting Managers Inc. (TUMI), based in Pooler, Georgia, has named Stephen Standing as senior vice president.
Standing started his professional life in 1996 as an underwriter for Homestead Insurance Co. He then served as marketing manager for B&S Underwriters and then as a managing partner for Delta Intermediaries. Most recently, he was senior vice president at Kirkway International Limited.
Standing is already very familiar with TUMI’s operations. During the past three years, while living in Bermuda, he served as TUMI’s insurance/reinsurance intermediary and helped TUMI place programs.
For TUMI, Standing will develop new programs and strengthen its agent force.
Founded in 2008, TUMI offers products for specialty classes of transportation in 48 states, excluding Massachusetts and Alaska.
