Cindy Perkins has been promoted to the position of support team supervisor for Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. (BSA)., headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn.
In her new position, Perkins is supervising claims administrative staff to ensure workflow of administrative and clerical duties. She is responsible for setting up new claim files for adjusters, reviewing and processing invoices from outside vendors, paying invoices against client accounts, and handling claims payments.
Perkins joined BSA in November 1999 as a mail clerk and was promoted to the position of claim assistant in October 2000, assisting the professional staff in processing insurance claims. In 2003, she became a claim examiner II, working with medical-only claims. She was promoted to claim representative II in December 2010.
Prior to joining BSA, Perkins has worked for Shorman & Associates as a medical bill analyst.
Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. provides claims management and loss control services to employers and employer associations with self-insured and large deductible programs for workers’ compensation and other casualty lines.
