DTRT Insurance Group (Do The Right Thing) has acquired Setnor and Associates, a retail property and casualty insurance brokerage firm based in Miami.
The acquisition will expand DTRT’s footprint into a new city and market where the company said it is looking to invest and grow. Seymour Setnor has now retired after a long career as an independent agency owner, as well as holding a prior management position Prudential.
All Setnor and Associates clients will now be served from DTRT’s existing regional locations in Homestead, Deerfield Beach and Coral Springs, Fla. Terms of the agreement in principle were not disclosed.
DTRT is a statewide insurance firm, delivering property and casualty, life, personal risk and high net worth solutions to its large clientele base. The company is headquartered in Coral Springs, Fla.
Setnor and Associates had been serving the Kendall / Miami community since 1985 with insurance and risk management services for businesses and individuals alike.
