Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. (BSA), headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., has hired DeeDee Beckwith in the position as a claims adjuster trainee in its occupational injury unit in the new Florence, Ala., office, according to Jeff Pettus, president and chief executive officer of Brentwood Services Administrators Inc.
As a claims adjuster trainee, Beckwith will be responsible for reviewing, processing and handling occupational injury indemnity claims. She determines the compensability of the claim and extent of liability, and communicates directly with clients, employers, injured works, physicians and attorneys to manage claims. She will be training with Jim Stewart, claims supervisor.
Before joining BSA, Beckwith was a legal assistant with John C. Saylor, LLC, in Florence, Ala.
