Jackson Sumner & Associates Promotes Banks to North Carolina Marketing Rep

Jackson Sumner & Associates (JSA) has promoted Scott Banks to the position of the company’s North Carolina Marketing representative.

Banks has been with JSA for more than three years, having most recently served as P&C assistant underwriter. His territory for JSA will include all of North Carolina.

Banks is a native of Kernersville, N.C. and a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BSBA in Risk Management and Insurance. Banks has been involved in the insurance industry for more than six years, getting his start at another wholesale insurance broker in Richmond, Va.

Jackson Sumner & Associates (JSA) is an excess and surplus lines managing general agent (MGA) that began in 1981 in Boone, N.C. JSA offers a range of insurance products including property, casualty, automobile, garage, professional liability, and personal lines. JSA is licensed to do business in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and Maryland.
