The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has partnered with Gainesville, Fla-based Darr Schackow Insurance.
DSI’s 55 employees and four offices throughout the state of Florida will expand Liberty’s presence in the southeast. DSI Managing Partners John Darr and Ray Schackow will join Liberty’s leadership team, bringing more than 28 years of experience and relationships from across the region.
John Darr said the partnership will bring more value to both customers and also its insurance agent partners.
Darr Schackow is licensed in 32 states, offers personal lines including auto, home and watercraft, as well as business insurance options such as workers’ comp and commercial property.
The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers is a privately held insurance broker in the United States providing producers and agency owners a platform to create equity value. Both Liberty and DSI were named a “Best Place to Work” by the Insurance Journal in 2020.
