The Liberty Co. Insurance Brokers, based in Gainesville, Florida, has named Douglas Choi vice president for risk management and program underwriting.
Choi spent 15 years with carriers, including several with Travelers and Nationwide, before moving to the broker side. This gives him a unique understanding of both sides of the client-carrier relationship, Liberty said in a news release.
The Liberty Co. said it is one of the fastest-growing privately held insurance brokerages in the country. It was founded in 1987 and is licensed in all 50 states.
