ECM Solutions, known as the largest privately owned independent agency in the Carolinas, has agreed to merge with IMA Financial Group, a major North American insurance brokerage.
ECM, which has 80 associates and offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, and in Greenville, South Carolina, will now operate as an IMA company, the companies said in a news release. Jeff Haney is ECM president.
IMA specializes in risk management, insurance, wholesale brokerage and wealth management. The company said it is an employee-owned company, which gives ECM associates the opportunity to invest in the brokerage, which has seen rapid growth in the last three years.
