NFP, a property-casualty insurance broker headquartered in New York, N.Y., hired Meg McSherry to lead the property and casualty business in its Atlantic region.
McSherry will support new business and client acquisition and retention and will help manage the region’s commercial P&C account teams. She will have a dual reporting relationship with Ethan Foxman, president, Atlantic region, and Tim DeSett, executive vice president, P&C, the company said in a news release.
She comes to NFP from Marsh, where she most recently served as U.S. and Canada specialty sales leader. She previously served as Marsh’s office head and corporate client leader for the Carolinas. Before joining Marsh, she was vice president and deputy industry practice leader for Chubb and previously worked as regional underwriting manager at The Hartford.
NFP’s Atlantic region includes much of the Southeastern United States.
