Wiglesworth-Rindom Insurance Agency, based in Stuart, Florida, has named Linda Cathey vice president of agency operations.
Cathey will oversee growth and development of the agency team. She previously was the managing director for Squeeze, an online insurance agency and quote comparison site. She also was director of personal lines at Marsh McLennan for more than 20 years.
Cathey holds the certified insurance service representative (CISR) and the chartered private risk and insurance advisor (CPRIA) professional designations, the agency said in a news release.
Wiglesworth-Rindom was recently named the Best Agency to Work For in the Southeast by Insurance Journal for 2023, based on employee surveys.
Liberty Insurance Brokers Promotes Baillie
The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, headquartered in Gainesville, Fla., promoted Adam Baillie to chief operating officer.
Baillie joined Liberty in 2014 as a producer and later became a managing partner. He most recently served as chief strategy officer.
