Alliant Insurance Services has named Burney Hutchinson, of Jackson, Mississippi, vice president for its Americas Division.
Hutchinson, who will design property and casualty insurance programs, has extensive experience in the industry, including commercial coverage for large accounts in the Southeast, Alliant said in a news release.
Jacksonville-based One Call, a care management firm in workers’ compensation, announced that Jessie Burgess has been appointed to the board of directors.
Burgess will continue his job as chief information officer for American Campus Communities, a developer of student housing communities around the country. He has more than 20 years’ experience in IT for real estate services and hospitality industries.
