Wood Joins Acordia’s West Region

Chicago-based Acordia Inc., a Wells Fargo Company, announced that H. David Wood has accepted the position of senior vice president, regional managing director of Acordia’s West region.

Wood will assume the leadership of the offices in the West region’s seven states, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. The states account for approximately 20 percent of Acordia’s total revenue.

Most recently, Wood held the position of regional executive officer for Willis North America in Glendale, Calif., where he was responsible for overseeing the operations of California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Prior to that, he served as president & CEO of USI of Southern California.

    Sacia is in charge of Alaska, Washington and Oregon. It is my understanding that this new guy is in charge of entire Western Region replacing Bob Kent. Sacia reports to him.
