Lockton Insurance Brokers Inc. appointed Scott Ferguson as vice president. He will be responsible for developing business with large middle market accounts, focusing on retail, manufacturing and construction.
Ferguson’s experience in commercial insurance spans over 16 years, working on both the brokerage and carrier sides of the industry. Prior to joining Lockton, he was vice president at Willis Risk and Insurance Services of San Diego where he produced and managed a book of construction risks in the U.S. as well as in conjunction with other offices in Australia and Canada.
Ferguson started his career as a claims examiner at Keenan and Associates and later served as risk manager for PETCO, a national specialty retail chain with over $1.2 billion in revenue, before joining American International Group as assistant vice president of national accounts.
