The seminar will take place from 1 – 4 p.m. on Thursday July 14. State Fund’s Riverside District Office is located at 6301 Day Street.
Employers attending will hear from state and county law enforcement officials. They will explain how to prevent applicant fraud which drains millions of dollars each year from California’s economy.
Employers can register for the seminar – “Fraud – Detect It. Prove it. Prevent It.” – by calling State Fund at 1-951/697-8580 or faxing their company name and policy number to 1-951/413-5787. A limited number of seats remain for the seminar which is one of the various anti-fraud educational activities and programs for employees at the State Fund’s Riverside District Office. The fraud seminar is part of “National Fraud Awareness Week.”
State Fund’s Fraud Investigation Program Manager Donna Gallagher noted, “California’s economy and all of the system’s stakeholders – injured workers to employers – benefit from being part of the effort to fight all types of fraud.”
