Los Angeles-based GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services LLC, a provider of comprehensive insurance solutions for businesses and individuals throughout the Southern California area, reported the creation of a new top-level position and named Andrew Forchelli as its executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Forchelli will have wide-ranging responsibilities including internal agency operations, carrier relationships, sales and organizational development, client relationships, marketing and finance.
Forchelli joins GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services after six years with The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in Los Angeles, where he was assistant vice president/regional underwriting manager.
GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services recently completed its 21,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art insurance facility in Encino, California in 2005. The agency staff consists of more than 70 insurance professionals.
In related GNW-Evergreen Insurance news, Karen Oxman was elected to the Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West (IBA West) Board of Directors of Southern California, regional director. In addition Jason Meshekow, a producer at GNW-Evergreen, was recently elected to the board of IBA West’s San Fernando Valley Chapter.
GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services, LLC (www.gnw-eg.com) was created in January 2004 as a union of two long-established, Los Angeles-based insurance brokerages. The seven principals of the limited liability company include Bill Switzky, David Albaum, Jeff Newman, Karen Oxman, Mike Newman, Paul Meshekow and Rob DiPaolo.
