Bass Underwriters of California has a new market. Target markets include, but are not limited to, contractors (occurrence form), restaurants and bars (can include A&B), hotel/motel, equipment rental with operator, barber and beauty including professional liability, alarm installation, condo and homeowner associations and habitational. Lines of business offered are general liability, property, inland marine and professional liability.
The carrier, RSUI Group, Landmark American Insurance Co. (nonadmitted), and RSUI Indemnity Co. (admitted) is rated “A,” XI and offers primary wording, non-contributory and waiver or subrogation.
Minimum premium is $650. Bass Underwriters can write up to $30,000 in house and submit for larger accounts. Limits are $1 million/$2 million.
