Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc. has announced a new package policy program to write contractor’s commercial auto as part of a package with general liability, property and inland marine products. The program is available in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
Discounts ranging from 5 percent to 15 percent for auto liability and physical damage coverage are available, based on the number of additional lines added to the commercial auto policy. Package discounts are in addition to experience or schedule rating modifications for risks that qualify.
The new auto package policy is written as a single policy. Contractors’ risks that are not eligible for the general liability coverage may be written as a package with discounts applied to the auto policy by adding companion property and/or inland marine lines of business.
Additional enhancements to the commercial auto program include eliminated driver surcharges for accidents or moving violations and a revised schedule rating plan that allows modifications based on employees driving records. Eligibility for experience rating was also revised from six to five or more power units.
