Heffernan Insurance Brokers has launched a new human resources consulting program and appointed Lisa Banducci leader of its new service offering. Banducci will work out of Heffernan’s Walnut Creek office, but the new service package is available statewide.
The Human Resources Consulting Services Program offers services on various topics including leave of absence, COBRA, Medicare, FEHA and ADA compliance, employee handbook development, employee wellness programs and crisis support.
Additionally, the company appointed Elizabeth Thomas assistant vice president of financial services, in its Portland, Ore., office. Heffernan’s Financial Services division offers employee benefits, life insurance, 401(k) plans and retirement plans for both businesses and individuals.
Thomas has several years experience in employee benefits in the Portland area, most recently at H-C & Associates/GET Benefits. At Heffernan, Thomas is charged primarily with account management responsibilities, as well as new business development.
