R.E. Chaix & Associates announced that Ronald “Ron” Hughes has joined the Northern California underwriting team in Napa.
Hughes began his insurance career in 1977 at Fireman’s Fund and has worked with several excess and surplus lines insurance firms in the San Francisco area, including marketing positions at Trinity E&S Insurance Services and Monarch E&S Insurance.
He joins the Napa office from excess and surplus lines brokers in Novato and will be responsible for the underwriting and placement of commercial accounts.
