As predicted, the National Hurricane Center said Hurricane Felicia that is headed toward Hawaii is weakening. The Center has downgraded the hurricane to a category two, and said maximum sustained winds are at 100 mph and the storm is moving at 13 mph.
“Additional weakening is expected during the next 48 hours, and Felicia is forecast to weaken to a tropical storm on Saturday,” the Center said.
