Jennifer Hetzel, a broker at AmWins Group Inc., has been named the 2008 – 2009 Region VIII Rookie of the Year. Hetzel is a member of the San Diego Insurance Women, a local affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Women, International (NAIW).
The Rookie of the Year award recognizes excellence among those members during their first 24 months of membership have shown outstanding achievements in their career and activities inside and outside of NAIW. Among the criteria considered in conferring the award are the candidate’s participation in all levels of NAIW at a local, state, regional and national level through committees, membership, chairmanship & elected offices, an active pursuit of educational programs, other activities undertaken in the community that show not only the candidates dedication to NAIW, but also the insurance industry.
Region VIII of NAIW is made up of five states including Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
