San Francisco-based Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. announced that Carolyn Polikoff has been named the new Corporate & Executive Protection (CorpEx) Practice leader. She will be responsible for providing vision and strategic focus for the practice that includes directors and officers liability, employment practices, mergers and acquisitions and fiduciary liability insurance.
Polikoff has more than 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer, she spent 11 years as a financial institutions underwriter for directors and officers, as well as errors and omissions liability insurance.She joined Woodruff-Sawyer in 2006 as an account executive and was promoted to CorpEx Practice manager in 2007. As CorpEx Practice leader, she will serve as a senior resource and advisor to both clients and Woodruff-Sawyer brokers and consultants on matters relating to the full suite of CorpEx insurance policies. Her responsibilities also include managing the CorpEx team of management liability specialists.
