Tustin, Calif.-based Yates & Associates has promoted Pat Piccinonno to vice president, underwriting/marketing. In addition to new business development and marketing, Piccinonno will oversee the underwriting staff.
Piccinonno began his career in New York in 1973 and continued to specialize in underwriting program business and excess and surplus lines business when he moved to California in 1980. Prior to rejoining the Yates organization earlier this year, he was most recently with Westrope General. Additionally, he was president of Lionheart Insurance, spent five years at R.E. Chaix & Associates and prior to that was an underwriter at Yates & Associates.
