Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based LaBarre/Oksnee Insurance has acquired the N.C. Dundas and Associates, a commercial insurance brokerage firm. The acquisition is part of LaBarre/Oksnee’s larger strategic expansion plans that include additional focus on new market support, and follow the company’s headquarters move to a larger facility and the opening of its Northern California office earlier this year. The purchase terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based out of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and with offices throughout California, N.C. Dundas and Associates specializes in all lines of commercial insurance and is a provider of risk management services.
As part of the acquisition agreement, Neal Dundas, the founder of N.C. Dundas and Associates, has been appointed to the position of vice president of LaBarre/Oksnee’s Commercial Division. Dundas brings more than 26 years of insurance management expertise, and will team with CEO Scott Oksnee to lead and grow the company’s commercial market development and increase new business opportunities.
LaBarre/Oksnee specializes in insurance services for homeowners associations.
