Heffernan Insurance Brokers Adds Murphy to Board

Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Heffernan Insurance Brokers has added Leslie Murphy to its board of directors.

Murphy has been the CEO of W. Bradley Electric Inc. for nearly 20 years. With more than 200 employees, WBE is the sixth largest woman-owned business in the Bay Area and the largest woman-owned contractor in the Bay Area, with projects in single building high-rise, industrial, and campus environments and an annual sales volume of more than $65 million. She recently was named a 2010 North Bay Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by Women’s Initiative.
