A Helena, Mont. man really picked the wrong place to drive the wrong direction with an open container of alcohol in his car.
The Independent Record reports 32-year-old Lacen T. Stern was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence after police spotted him driving in the wrong direction on a one-way street in front of the Helena Law Enforcement Center early Monday afternoon.
Lt. Steve Hagen says Stern failed field sobriety tests before being cited with his fourth DUI offense. He also faces a felony charge of tampering with evidence for refusing to submit to a blood test after a search warrant was issued. Police also cited Stern for having an open container of alcohol and for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
