The Colorado Department of Revenue is asking state lawmakers to allow people to register their vehicles and get titles using their computers.
Lawmakers say a measure being considered Wednesday would save a lot of time and paper.
The Department of Revenue already allows Coloradans to renew driver’s licenses electronically.
According to the Denver Post, money to pay for the program would come from grants and donations to the electronic motor vehicle registration cash fund.
