RGEB Employee Benefits has acquired the individual, Medicare and group health insurance business of Archer Weiss, a firm providing health insurance plans for clients in Southern California.
The transaction will increase RGEB’s revenues by roughly 50 percent, the company said. Other than that, the terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
This agreement adds 100 group clients and 250 individual and Medicare clients to RGEB’s insurance portfolio. RGEB expects to meet with all of its new group clients by Oct 1.
The firm will be adding administrative professional and an employee advocate/account manager to its team.
RGEB works with nearly 400 companies representing 8,000 employees. The firm serves clients throughout California, Nevada, New York and Arizona.
