Elliott Tapped as Fireman’s Fund CIO in California

Novato, Calif.-based Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. named John Elliott as chief information officer.

Elliott will be responsible for developing and implementing the technology strategy to achieve the company’s business objectives. He will oversee various IT teams, and he will work with operations, Allianz Group partners, and business leaders.

Elliott more than 20 years of technology leadership experience. Most recently, was senior vice president and chief information officer for Aon Risk Solutions. Before that, he was with Bear Stearns. He has also worked for McKinsey and Company.

Fireman’s Fund is a member of the Allianz Group, one of the world’s largest providers of property and casualty insurance.
