Ascension Names Merrill Senior Vice President in California

Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Ascension Insurance Inc. named Greg Merrill senior vice president of operations for the Fresno office of the Pan American and Walter L. Clark organizations.
Pan American and Walter L. Clark are Ascension companies.

In this role Merrill is responsible for directing the strategic business and operational initiatives.

Merrill has been with Pan American for more than a decade, and most recently held the position of vice president managing the desert region property/casualty offices in California and Arizona.

He has also served as Pan American’s director of crop insurance services since late 2009.

Pan American provides property/casualty, risk management, workers’ compensation and employee benefit solutions to the agribusiness industry.
Walter L. Clark agency specializes in commercial insurance, with emphasis on the agribusiness industry.

Ascension has more than 450 employees and 35 locations nationwide.
