This was a tragic event, yet the attorneys says that the theater should have had armed guards in or patrolling outside. Has our country come to this? Bad enough you can’t do anything without consulting an attorney now. But guess every starbucks and hair salon better have armed guards. Thought we wanted to do away with so many guns.

The dude that did this crime should be given the needle, not put up in prison for 50 years.

I’m a frequent movie-goer. I do not want armed guards stationed in the theater as a watch a film unless, maybe, when I’m at a sneak preview and they take your mobile phone away before you enter the theater or tell you to leave your phone in your car.

Besides, if they have to hire security, that will just raise the price of a movie ticket. They’re high enough already.

I’ll take my chances, thank you very much.

Well, like good liberals this theater had a “no guns allowed” policy, thereby trusting criminals would not commit a crime. Then we are shocked when the nut did not obey the policy. Also, it was shown there were many other movie theaters nearer to his house that did not ban guns. He purposely targeted this one because he knew the theater disarmed law-abiding citizens. The theater owner should be prosecuted for disarming the law-abiding from having a chance to defend themselves.
