San Francisco, Calif.-based Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. is expanding its board of directors from eight to 10 members with the additions of Priya Cherian Huskins and Christopher Kakel.
Huskins and Kakel are now partners/shareholders in the company.
Huskins has been with Woodruff-Sawyer for 13 years and consults with clients on directors and officer’s liability insurance, corporate governance and risk mitigation.
Kakel joined Woodruff-Sawyer in 2014 and is a founding partner of the firm’s Colorado office. He is a casualty practice leader and has been working on complex domestic and multinational risks as a casualty broker since 2000. He served in senior vice president roles with Marsh in Denver and New York prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer.
Woodruff-Sawyer has offices throughout California, and in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Hawaii and New England.
