Gaines has been with Gorst & Compass for three years and has been in the industry for 12 years. Her previous title was assistant underwriter.
Gaines was previously a senior assistant underwriter at Burns & Wilcox.
Gorst & Compass is wholesale brokerage headquartered in Chatsworth, Calif.
