I found the cause of the problem and it is with incompetent bureaucrats like: “Seleta Reynolds of the city’s transportation department says the number of fatalities could be connected to booming car sales and an increase in distractions that drivers have in their vehicles.”
If accidents and especially fatal accident rates are up it is due to excessive speed in most cases. Increased enforcement of existing traffic laws is the solution.
