A Utah couple and five of their nine children are recovering from injuries after the balcony on their home collapsed.
Spring City police say the accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports Adam Burningham, his wife Deirdre and five children were hurt in the 20-foot fall.
All seven of the injured were taken to a hospital, but police say six of them were released by Monday.
Police say the injuries included broken legs and arms, a fractured back and internal injuries.
They say it appears the accident was due to a structural failure caused by poor construction of the home’s balcony.
