The Idaho Department of Insurance has named Weston Trexler deputy director.
He was hired to the department as the product review bureau chief-actuary in 2012.
He previously worked for the actuarial consulting firm Milliman. He worked for a health insurance company with responsibilities in evaluating the impact of provider networks and pharmacy contracts before that.

The department has been regulating the business of insurance in Idaho since 1901.
