California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara has issued a notice closing the record for the Jan. 1, 2021 workers’ compensation pure premium rate filing.
The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California on Oct. 5 testified at a California Department of Insurance public hearing regarding the WCIRB’s Jan. 1, 2021 pure premium filing, which was submitted to the CDI on Aug. 26, and amended on Sept. 15.
Lara had requested additional information at the hearing, so the record was left open at the close of the hearing.
The commissioner is expected to issue a decision with respect to the WCIRB’s filing within 30 days of the close of the record.
