Hippo in California Adds Wijnberg to Board as Independent Director

Palo Alto, Calif.-based insurtech Hippo has named Sandra Wijnberg to its board as an independent director.

Wijnberg has experience in insurance, private equity and board governance. She currently serves as audit committee chair of Automatic Data Processing Inc. and Cognizant Technology Solutions and is also a member of the board of T. Rowe Price Group Inc. She previously served on the boards of directors of Tyco International PLC and TE Connectivity Ltd.

Wijnberg was a partner, chief administrative officer and member of the board of directors of Aquiline Holdings LLC, an investment advisory firm. Prior to that, Wijnberg was the chief financial officer of Marsh & McLennan Cos.

Hippo Insurance Services is a licensed property/casualty insurance agent with products underwritten by various insurance companies.
