Durham, North Carolina-based Atlatl announced the availability of ConsumerArts, an internet based North Carolina comparison rating system designed specifically for use by Independent Agents.
Atlatl has been a technology leader in rating systems since 1981. Atlatl provides insurance proprietary point of sale rating solutions to insurance companies nationwide with software in use by over 20,000 agencies. ConsumerArts marks their renewed focus on sales to agents.
ConsumerArts online service includes personal lines comparison rating, ACORD fillable forms, and a unique Quote Follow Up program that lets the agent re-solicit unsold quotes via automated re-quoting and emails.
ConsumerArts is written in Java. The system is platform independent enabling it to run on any compliant server, such as IBM Websphere or JRun. ConsumerArts supports multiple operating environments, including Unix or Windows, and industry leading database platforms, such as Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server.
