Orange, CA – G. J. Sullivan Co. Excess & Surplus Lines, Inc., Orange, CA and London American General Agency (LAGA) of San Diego and Arizona announce that they have signed a definitive agreement for GJS to acquire 100% of the Property & Casualty and Professional Liability books of business from LAGA, effective May 1, 2005. London American will continue to specialize and operate in Transportation and Motorsports Insurance coverages.
“This acquisition provides GJS a broader reach into the surplus lines and Professional lines marketplace. The addition of the underwriting teams in the two new locations has given GJS further underwriting expertise and has added additional markets,” says William E. Buckley, President & CEO of G. J.
